Accommodation Arrangements
Students who have their homestay arranged through Prime, will be met by their homestay parents at the school after arriving from the airport and on
completion of the initial enrolment procedures. We visit and interview every homestay family to ensure that you are in a safe, caring and friendly environment during
your stay in New Zealand. We also arrange a police check on all homestay families to ensure they are of good character. Breakfast and dinner are provided at your
homestay from Monday to Friday and all meals are provided on the weekends. Other types of accommodation are available including hostels and flats. Please ask as
we can advise and help you.
Airport Pick up
If you have requested our pick up service, you will be met at the airport by one of our representatives who will be holding a sign with your name
on it. You will then be driven directly to your homestay or school.
Native Language Advisors
We have staff available who speak several Asian and European languages.
Tertiary and Secondary Studies advising and Placements
Many of our students sit the IELTS test (International English Language Testing System) and continue their studies at a New Zealand university. We have
very close links with a number of high schools, colleges and universities here in New Zealand and overseas. We assist students in the application process and give
advice to help them make the right decisions.
Assistance with Visas and Immigration Matters
We provide you with full assistance with your visa application.
Insurance
International students must have medical and travel insurance while studying in New Zealand. We can arrange insurance upon request.
Assistance with Bank Accounts
We assist you to open a bank account in New Zealand.
Guardians (for students under 18)
Students under the age of 18 are required to have a guardian whilst studying in New Zealand, and the parents must formally approve in writing the
chosen guardian. The guardian must have a formal ‘police vetting’ and must be accessible to the student by phone at all times. Ultimately, the guardian will be
responsible for the health, welfare and safety of the student in his/her care.
First Day Support
On your first day at school you will attend an orientation programme, where we will introduce you to your counsellors and explain school procedures and rules,
as well as information about Auckland and living in New Zealand.
Friday Activities
We organise social activities inside and outside the school. This programme enables the students to enjoy their experience in New Zealand and to share their
cultures with other students.
