Our General English classes are designed to assist students who want to improve their English for a range of purposes:

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is the accepted testing system for entry into higher education in
New Zealand, Australia, The United Kingdom and many tertiary institutions worldwide. Prime International College has established
links with a number of these institutions in the Asia-Pacific region.
Students wishing to enter this program need to have already attained a high level of English language ability (at least to intermediate level General English and/or a
previous IELTS test band score of 4.5-5.0). A further option is to sit our in-house placement test
The main focus of the course is intensive study in the 4 modules of the IELTS examination: reading, writing, listening and speaking
The course is designed to teach the appropriate skills, techniques, and strategies to sit the IELTS examination successfully.
IELTS-specific books are used, including past tests.
The school can assist students in applying for the IELTS test locally.
